Air Macau to resume and increase mainland destinations from late September

Air Macau?is planning to?increase?the?number of flights per week to mainland destinations from the current commitment of 54 to 230

Air Macau, Macau’s flag-carrier airline, stated on Monday that they will?resume flights to?a number of?cities in mainland China, coinciding with the?resumption of?the?Individual Visit Scheme (IVS) visas?for?tourists nationwide?on September?23.??

The newspaper, Macao Daily News reported, that?Air Macau?is planning to?increase?the?number of flights per week to mainland destinations in October?from the current commitment of 54?per week?to 230.?

According to Macao Daily News, Air Macau said the decision to increase?the number of flights to Chinese cities was made in response to the Macau government’s?“expanding?the source of passengers, boosting the economy, and safeguarding employment” plan, Air Macau stated on the 7th that it will further increase the overall number of flights?starting from September 30, with 230 flights to the mainland every week, 9 The monthly increase of 176 flights, an increase of 326%.?
